  Rotten experience with Havas (at his Bondi clinic). Went to him for opinion/management of chronic rhinosinusitus (already diagnosed). Expensive 15 minute consults and you're kept waiting then whirled in for a 3 minutes session where he barely listens to anything you say. More importantly, I called ahead to ask if he wanted a CT scan or blood test (to save on having to go back), he said no, then all he did on first consult was tell me to get a CT scan and a blood test. Still, didn't listen to anything at all I said really. Went back with the CT scan and blood test, he looked at the CT for a few seconds and recommended a surgery, a pretty invasive one too, and shuffled me into see his accountant. Before he ran off I asked about the blood test he made me get (for $185, not bulk-billed) and he was like "oh yeah" - absolutely no attention to detail, no confidence in anything. And then the accountant said that no matter how much private medical insurance would cover for the surgery, Havas would charge an additional $2000. Honestly what is the point? I got a second opinion by a brilliant ENT who has me on just some medical management now and thinks that surgery is way too extreme, I've been symptom-free for a few months and couldn't be happier.

  The Doctor was qualified and helpful but the receptionists was not. They didn't seems helpful and sympathetic with patients and they had unfriendly phone responses.
